A veteran advertising executive and copywriter, Dewey cut his teeth on wine marketing with King Estate where he lead the launch of the now infamous Pinot Envy. After eleven years in the agency world he took a leap of faith to head up marketing at Oregon’s leading organic winery, Cooper Mountain Vineyards.
Elected President of the Wineries of Washington County for two terms, Dewey spearheaded association marketing efforts and the development of the now very successful Wineology educational series. Joining SakéOne in January of 2005 he is responsible for all brand management and all aspects of marketing from identity development and packaging to POS and advertising. Dewey’s Bachelor of Science comes from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism & Communication.
