It's an idea. An adventure of food and beverage that goes beyond expectation. Momokawa Supper Club is a challenge to chefs both professional and at home. Choose a selection of any Momokawa and create a dinner party that features the sake paired with unexpected foods. No sushi or other Japanese dishes. No Asian or Fusion. Think Mexican, BBQ, Italian, French, Peruvian, Southern, Thai, Indian...... Think outside the obvious. Taste the sake and come up with a menu pairing each with a dish.

We've asked some amazing Chefs around the country to take on the experiment with us and have tasted amazing results. Chicken enchiladas with Momokawa Organic Junmai Ginjo. Momokawa Pearl with Curried beef cheeks. Momokawa Diamond with sweets. You can do this at home, with friends and have a great time on an adventure.

And, to provide some creative inspiration, we are partnering with local restaurants and their Chefs to present to Portland foodies a creative culinary exploration. By attending one, or all, of these Momokawa Supper Clubs you'll learn about sake, why and how we brew sake in Oregon, how to taste and evaluate sake, how to pair with diverse cuisine and you'll get to explore the culinary craft of these Amazing Chefs: Dustin Clark of Wildwood Restaurant and Bar, Hank Costello or Andina and Alex Diestra of Saucebox.
