STYLE
Tanrei Junmai: Tanrei means "crisp and dry." This is a very high quality junmai crafted with extra attention to detail. Made with only rice, water, yeast and koji.

TASTING NOTES
An elegant, crisp and dry Junmai with melon aromas and rich cantaloupe flavors accompanying a creamy body.

PAIRING NOTES
Fish, mild mushrooms, chicken, salads and Japanese cuisine.

RICE
Mutsuhomare from Aomori Prefecture.

MILLING
Rice milled to: 65% of original grain.

SERVING TEMPERATURE
Slightly chilled to cold.

With rice milled to 65% of its original size and water from a subterranean branch of Northern Honshu's pristine Oirase River, this classic Junmai is simple and elegant in its purity. Made with only rice, water, yeast (a proprietary variety), and a proprietary koji (the mold that converts starch to sugar and imparts many of saké's special flavors) this Junmai adheres to an ages old craft that continues to produce one of the Murai Family's most honored sakés.
